Attorney: Travers W. Chance
Education and Achievements
Travers is a lifelong resident of the Augusta area. He graduated from Lakeside High School in 1993 and graduated from Augusta State University with a BA in Criminal Justice in 1999. Travers attended Florida Coastal School of Law and received a Juris Doctorate in 2001 and was admitted to the Georgia State Bar in November 2002. He is an active member of the Georgia Bar Association and the Augusta Bar Association.
Employment and Areas of Practice
Travers entered into private practice with his uncle, Calvin E. Chance, Jr., and formed Chance & Chance until 2011 when he moved his individual practice to the Evans area. Travers has remained a dedicated attorney in the area and also acts as Chief Municipal Court Judge in the City of Grovetown, Georgia. Travers specializes in criminal defense, family law issues, probate matters, and personal injury.
Personal Life
Travers enjoys giving back to his community where he was born and raised. He is an active member of Abilene Baptist Church. His hobbies include hunting, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife, Tracey, and their two children, Parker and Avery.
